Having moved into a 40 year old home, we did so knowing that the original bathrooms and semi-updated kitchen would need renovating soon. Fast forward 10 years and they were way past the point of needing attention! We finally got around to getting quotes and contacting references and ended up choosing Heffernan Build and Remodel. We started with two bathrooms in 2010. The end results more than exceeded our expectations. The work was done timely with attention to detail. Their prime objective seemed to be our satisfaction and they achieved that. Just as importantly though, it is truly a pleasure to work with Mike and Tom directly, as well as the sub contractors they employ. They are always welcome in our home. Our overall satisfaction is best substantiated by noting that we went back to Heffernan Build for our kitchen remodel in 2011 as well as a front portico addition in 2012….and….we’re quite certain that they aren’t done in our home yet!

I have had several, great experiences with Heffernan Build and Remodel. Michael and Tom are two of the utmost professional GCs I have had the pleasure of working with for an extended time period. The largest project we did was a demolition and remodel of my kitchen, great room, bar, mudroom, laundry, bath and decks. It was quite an undertaking – and I moved out of my house with my children. They followed their time line and were always on time and on site – which is comforting – especially when I wasn’t always there. They were excellent in communicating with me and keeping me in the loop of everything that was going on with my construction. Every sub contractor that the Heffernan’s brought on site was personable and professional. I also could tell that they all respected Michael and Tom and were committed to their jobs. I knew when I hired them that I would be getting the best of the best. They are both perfectionists and take pride in their work and it shows in the quality of the end product. I was also amazed at how clean they kept the site on a daily basis. They are very detailed and honest in their estimates – so you won’t get any surprises along the way like with other estimates. If you are looking for the best to build your dream space, you have already found them with the Heffernans. You will not be disappointed. They are truly a class above the others. My home is beautiful – and everything I ever wanted. Mike and Tom were committed to my project and made the process as seamless and easy as possible. They exceeded all of my expectations.
